Policies, hotspring tub rules, and

how to come prepared

Check-in is 3PM and checkout is 11AM (motel/cabins)

Check-in is 2PM and checkout is 12PM (campground)

-Late checkouts will result in an extra nights charge. Early check-in may be possible depending on room/site availability.

-If you arrive outside of office hours, an envelope will be posted at the front of the office with your name on it. Inside you'll find your receipt and a map guiding you to your room. We do not maintain a 24-hour front desk but a camp host is available on-site in case of questions or emergencies.

COVID-19 Precautions:

-A mask must be worn at all times in shared indoor spaces such as the office, hallways, and bathhouse.

-To remain open, we are required by Inyo County and the State of California to leave 1 hour in between soakers in the hot spring tubs. (Our pools are a flow-through design and therefore takes 1 hour for the water to be completely replaced.) Sign-up sheets are located on the door of each tub room and are first-come, first-serve for all guests. As always, showers are required before entering the tubs. Pools will remain open 21 hours a day, closed between 12PM and 3PM for cleaning. We will also be periodically sanitizing high-touch areas throughout the day.

-Please follow current CDC guidelines concerning face coverings, social distancing, and frequent hand washing.

-Please call to cancel your reservation as soon as possible if you or anyone else planning to visit are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, or you've come in contact with someone who has recently tested positive. These measure help keep our guests, staff, and community healthy so we can stay open and continue to enjoy all the things we love about Tecopa Hot Springs Resort.

Come Prepared:

Tecopa is located in a remote part of the desert and requires special precautions.

-There is no cell phone service in our immediate area. Make sure you know where you're going before you lose connection.

-Bring enough water for drinking and cooking. Although our tap water is potable, it's very high in minerals. At least 1 gallon per person, per day is recommended.

-Our desert is known for weather extremes. Check the forecast before visiting and be advised that you may experience extremely high heat or freezing temperatures, monsoon rains, high winds and possible power outages. But also be prepared for brilliant sunsets, breathtaking night skies, and an awe-inspiring landscape.

-There is no WiFi available at the resort. There is a limited connection available across the street at the community center. There are no TV's or telephones inside any of the rooms.

-Tecopa doesn't have a store, gas station, or an ATM. There are a couple of restaurants, breweries, and a bakery open seasonally. Please call ahead for current days and hours of operation.

-The nearest town with full services is in Pahrump, NV, 35 miles east, where you will find grocery stores, banks, gas stations, and a hospital. There is a small convenience store and gas station located in Shoshone, 8 miles north.
